Languages, translations and right-to-left stores
Every customer-facing text per market, placeholders, and RTL layout for Arabic, Hebrew and Persian.
Settings › Widget text lists every phrase the customer sees, one tab per published language of your store: widget title, “Most popular”, “Best value”, Add to cart, “Save {amount}”, the cart bar lines, the mix & match set lines, countdown and “only N left”.
- Placeholders in braces are filled in: {amount}, {count}, {percent}, {reward}, {label}, {time}.
- Empty translations fall back to the primary language.
- Each offer can override its own title; the override applies to every language unless translated.
Right-to-left
Settings › General › Advanced › Text direction. Auto detects RTL languages (ar, he, fa, ur and others) from the storefront locale and mirrors the widget, the cart bar and the badges: alignment, progress bars, badge position and the plus signs between bundle items. Choose LTR or RTL to force it. The admin itself follows the language of your Shopify account.
Common problems
A language tab is missing.
Only languages published in Shopify › Settings › Languages appear. Publish the language, then reload Settings.
Currency symbols appear on the wrong side in RTL.
Prices are formatted with your store's money format; adjust it in Shopify › Settings › Store details › Currency formatting.
