Scheduling offers and pausing them
Start and end dates, time zones, what Scheduled and Expired mean, pausing versus deleting.
- Publish now: live as soon as you save.
- Schedule: a start date and an optional end date. The offer shows as Scheduled until the start, Active during, Expired after. Dates are interpreted in your store's time zone; the end date includes the whole day.
- Pause: switches the offer off immediately (widget hidden, discount disabled) but keeps everything. Switch back on any time; plan limits count active offers only.
- Delete: removes the offer, its automatic discount and, for bundles, the hidden parent product. Analytics history is kept.
Scheduled offers are synced to Shopify with their dates, so the discount starts and stops even if our servers are unreachable at that moment.
Common problems
An expired offer still appears in the widget.
The storefront hides it on its own once the end time passes; a cached page may need a reload. Checkout never applies it after the end date.
